I have painted this miniature just for fun. I should paint more Bronze Age miniatures for my own collection because is my favourite historic period!! He is a Warlord Games Assyrian Kisir Sharruti spearmen.
...wonderful painting as expected.....world class Andres.
....any chance we can see some more Sumerian era minis done...perhaps the new War Carts or such......lovely, lovely work. Your painting is an inspiration for my painting even though I dare not compare :-)
Happy Wanderer: Thanks!! I have some Cutting Edge miniatures on the table, some Ammorites.I would love to paint some Sumerian Carts but I haven´t got any... (maybe some day in the future).
Your blog is great and interesting. I´ll use some things as reference for my painting jobs too. Thanks!!
Glad to hear you have those Amorites on the table.
Looking forward to seeing them.
Perhaps if you wanted to do any of the battle carts you could suggest to the owner that if he flicks you a 'sample model' then you'll paint it up and he can use the images?
Its just a thought as I think your painting is about as good it gets when it comes to this figure range and would show off his figures at their best.
Excellent! I have swithered several times over the years whether to go for Assyrians, this makes me think it would be a good idea.

Great work. I focus mainly on collecying and painting dark ages armies but your fine work makes a Biblical army awfully tempting.
