I haven’t got the rules but I have several Foundry Vikings so I’ll keep painting them and see where it takes me. I thought about mixing them with some Crusader miniatures (do you know how they match together? because they were sculpted by the same person).
I have seen that people are painting their band in groups of four or eight miniatures, so I have to prepare another three two-handed axe warriors.
Axebreaker: "If you like skirmish games then go for it!" I love skirmish games and big battles games but like other people I have realized that I’ll never have a big painted army :(. So I’m collecting skirmish games rules and seeing my "real strength" when I paint for myself.
Endakil: Thanks and welcome!! Gracias y bienvenido!!
Ray Rousell: Thanks but I wouldn’t call a bearded man with an axe a beauty!! ;) hahaha
You usuly play with 6 point warbands, but most people start up with a 4 point,
The Warlord you get for free:) Then you purchase your minis in groups for 1point each.
4 Heatguard or 8 Warriors or 12 Levys.
I dosent realy matter what weapon they have, BUT it is only the Viking levy that can have Bows. And then special for the Vikings are that they can turn 4 Heatguards in to berserkers (no more on less)
Hope its a start untill you get the rules.

I have seen a lot of interesting things about SAGA (I have been lurking several blog talking about it). Jehan´s blog has a good number of nicely painted Scots too, and Endakil too. Then I saw some Vikings on my desk, and then I have a new game!!

Superb painting. Saga is a lot of fun and the Vikings are my favorite faction to play.
Realy good looking !!!
SAGA are a greate game and you only need 25 minis to get a elit 6 point Viking force;)
Best regards Michael
