French and Indian War: Indian I

I got a good number of Redoubt Enterprises Indians some time ago. After seeing a lot of people painting and preparing bands for "Muskets and tomahawks" I just wanted to paint some Indians, so this is the first one. I have added some pictures of the bases.

This one looks awesome! I realy like the basing. The base itself seems a bit to tall for me, though.

Thanks!! I usually like thinner bases too but I wanted to try something with some game pieces I bought. I'll take some pictures for you to see them without paint.

Cheers.

Fantastic painting as always, Andres. I picked up some Front Rank figures, including the Wolfe figure, and they are actually a little shorter than the Foundry British & French guys from their 7YW range. I understand Redoubt is also on the larger side of 28mm, so will have to keep them in mind. Best, Dean

I only wish the pictures were a little bigger. The detail of the warpaint is phenomenal.

Thanks!!

Dean: Thanks, I haven´t got any other FIW miniature from other companies but being Redoubt they are big. People says they match very well with Galloping Major miniatures (I'll try them at some point)

Sean: Thanks!! Sorry about that, I´ll take bigger pictures the next time!!

Wonderful painting once again. A warband painted to this standard would be a sight to see.

Noy going to repeat what's been said by the other people commenting. Excellent, awesome,... stunning painting. You¡'re my number one inspiration source although I 'm far from your level

They are awesome. I like a lot your painting work, and the terrain you have put on the bases.

Looks ace! Excellent choice of colours and basing material (even like the tall base for a gaming piece).
Unfortunately for me, bad experience with Redoubt will prevent further purchases of their (actually quite lovely) models.

Very nicely done with your ever so lovely tonal quality.

I love the Redoubt Indians as they are just packed with character. The clean up is a royal pain, but worth it in the end. I plan on painting all the Redoubt Indians at some point and have finished a few so far.

Looking forward to more!

Christopher

I'm very eager to start some FIW too, but I just can't find a skin tone I like for the indians...
